UGANDA, AFRICA 

Tammy visited Maisha School and Orphanage in Kagadi, Uganda with a group from
FUSION Leadership Group in November of 2019. Maisha provides education, food, and support to over 350 vulnerable children in the poorest district of the country.

FUSION first visited this region in November of 2018. After this visit the leadership recognized that several of the communities supported by Maisha school did not have access to clean water. Many of the children were sick or dying from diseases transmitted through contaminated water. After our November trip, the Alexis Summers Legacy Foundation partnered with CEED to install a water well in one of the struggling villages we visited during that trip.
